YEAH! - Idea Paper Submitted

As you can tell from the title, I got Version 1 of the Idea Paper for my dissertation submitted. The subject of the project is "Competencies of Nurses Providing Peer-to-Peer Instruction in Computerized Clinical Information Systems". I then proceeded to reward myself with reading for an hour or so.

I also finshed 2 quilt tops in the last couple of weeks. My Thursday afternoon quiliting group is making queen-sized quilts for a new veteran's home that is scheduled to open in Dec. We have someone who is doing the long-arm quilting for free, we just need to do the tops and the organization is paying for the batting; others in the group who have more patience than I are assembling the quilts. I should have taken pictures, but did not. The first one was a big-block quilt done with 6 big pink and blue blocks with 3 borders of varying pink/blue patterns. The second was done in reproduction fabrics of 4-patch blocks. I used black sashing and two different fabrics of black borders. I think they turned out fairly well and I know the final product will be appreciated by the recipients. My third top has the center complete and I just have to put the borders on and that one will be ready to go also. I did this one in strips of floral fabrics which I put to gether in the form of four-patch blocks. Again, I used a black-on-black sashing and borders.

I still have several hours to work on things this evening so we will have to see what I get into!
